Pahalgam Terror Attack: Telangana CM, Ministers Observe Two-Minute Silence For Victims

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his deputy Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka were among several others who observed a two-minute silence here on Thursday praying for the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
AICC Telangana In-Charge Meenakshi Natarajan, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, ministers and MPs also observed silence, an official release said. CM Reddy strongly condemned the Pahalgam incident, it said. He discussed with Vikramarka, ministers and others the terror attack and on the situation of tourists there, the release added.
Meanwhile, the candlelight vigil which was to be taken out here on Thursday evening under the leadership of the Telangana chief minister to pay homage to those killed in the attack, has been postponed to Friday, the release said.
The event (candlelight vigil in Hyderabad) was postponed after it was announced that the Congress would hold candle marches across the country on April 25 to pay homage to the victims of the attack and protest against terrorist activities. Terrorists opened fire at a tourist location near Kashmir's Pahalgam town on Tuesday afternoon, killing 26 people, mostly tourists.
