Owaisi Slams Turkey for Criticising Op Sindoor
Owaisi slams Turkey for criticising India’s anti-terror action, says Ankara has no moral right to comment
Hyderabad: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday blasted Turkey for opposing India's counter-terrorism action in Pahalgam under `Operation Sindoor’, questioning Ankara's moral authority to comment. “Turkey should not lecture India. When it attacks Kurdish groups labelled as terrorists, how does it have the right to question us,” Owaisi asked in a video message.
Owaisi said Turkey had bombed Kurdish militant groups within its borders, as well as targets in Iraq and Syria, until it reached an understanding with Iraq. “When you take action against terrorists, why are you questioning India?” he questioned.
RSS mouthpiece Organiser shared his remarks and video on its social media platform `X’.
Responding to the praise for his slogans of :Pakistan Murdabad, Bharat Zindabad” at a recent public meeting, the Hyderabad MP said he did not need validation or appreciation for loving his country and condemning the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. “The feelings came from my heart and from the teachings of my father and mother. Even during such a crisis, how can I remain silent?” he said in another video on his X account.
“If a heinous act is committed by terrorists on our soil, how can I stay silent, even if the 26 killed were Hindus? As an MP, a human being, a father with daughters and sons-in-law at home — how can one keep quiet?” Owaisi asked, adding that the safety of every citizen would be safe if the country is safe.
