Over 35,000 Apply for 7,340 Indiramma LIG Flats; Deadline August 10

Hyderabad:The Indiramma LIG Housing Scheme has received 35,125 applications for 7,340 homes. The last day to apply is August 10. The lottery is scheduled after August 20 and the housing units will be handed over to beneficiaries within a year, said V.P. Gautam, Telangana Housing Board secretary.

He stated that any queries could be clarified on the call center number 040-24603572.

The government is allocating these flats which have market prices ranging from 30 lakh to 58 lakh for 6 lakh per beneficiary. There is no requirement to submit caste or income certificates when applying for the scheme. If a house is not allotted, the applicant's deposit fee of 10,000 will be refunded, he said.

While accepting applications from the public, the Housing Board is simultaneously taking action regarding the allocation and construction of the houses. The tender process has been initiated for the construction of 'Indiramma House' towers in the respective areas.
