NRR Accuses Congress Regime of Creating West Bengal-Like Situation in Telangana
The state BJP president accused the Congress government of trying to create West Bengal-like violent incidents in Telangana state.
Nalgonda:BJP state president N. Ramachandra Rao on Wednesday alleged that the Congress government in Telangana is resorting to politics of intimidation to silence the voice of the opposition in the state.
Speaking to media at Bhongir in Yadadri-Bhongir district on his way to Warangal, Ramachandra Rao referred to Congress leaders attacking the house of Nalgonda district BJP president Nagam Varshith Reddy’s home and beating up the latter’s 62-year-old mother. Varshith Reddy’s mother had to be hospitalised as a result.
The state BJP president accused the Congress government of trying to create West Bengal-like violent incidents in Telangana state.
He maintained that the people of Telangana would teach a fitting lesson to the Congress at an appropriate time. “The people of Telangana who voted Congress to end the rule of BRS are now disappointed with the Congress too,” Ramachandra Rao underlined.
He exuded confidence that BJP would soon come to power in Telangana, as Congress and BRS have failed to meet the aspiration of people.
