50-TPD Bio-Methanisation Plant, BMX Track Among CMC Approvals
The committee also accorded administrative sanction for the construction of what has been described as India’s and the SAARC region’s first UCI Olympic-standard 5-metre and 8-metre dual-hill BMX Supercross track near Medchal Check Post.
The bio-methanisation plant will process organic waste and is proposed under the Centre’s Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0.
The committee also accorded administrative sanction for the construction of what has been described as India’s and the SAARC region’s first UCI Olympic-standard 5-metre and 8-metre dual-hill BMX Supercross track near Medchal Check Post. The project, proposed on more than three acres of stadium land in Medchal Circle under the Quthbullapur Zone, is estimated to cost around Rs 6 crore.
The proposed facility will include a 370-metre to 400-metre BMX track, an all-weather warm-up pump track, spectator stands, an administrative and office block, equipment stores, washrooms, a watchman’s cabin, floodlighting and dedicated parking.
The committee also approved proposals for the scientific management of chicken waste and strengthening sanitation services through the procurement of mechanised road-sweeping vehicles and truck-mounted skip loaders.
On the infrastructure front, it approved a road development plan for a proposed 30-metre-wide road connecting Bachupally to the Mallanna Temple on Nizampet Road. It also cleared proposals for road widening, a central median and central lighting between Mahadevapuram X Road and Gajularamaram Junction.
The committee approved collaboration with UNICEF to establish a child-friendly and safe Cyberabad Municipal Corporation. A proposal to expand dog shelters at the Animal Care Centre in Mahadevapuram was also cleared.
Other approvals included regulated eco-friendly activities at Barla Kunta in Sri Ram Nagar, Serilingampally; adoption of the official CMC logo across its offices, parks, assets and signage; and CSR-supported development and maintenance of central greenery between Nallagandla X Road and Tellapur Road.
