Nizamabad: Gang Uses Gas Cutters to Loot ₹39 Lakh from Two ATMs
Police noted that some currency was damaged by the heat from the gas cutter used during the forced entry.

Hyderabad: A major theft targeting two ATMs—one in Aryanagar and another in Sainagar—has occurred in Nizamabad city. Burglars, believed to be a five-member gang, used a gas cutter to break into the machines and steal cash. The SBI ATM at Sainagar was looted of approximately ₹9 lakh, while the DCB ATM in Aryanagar saw a larger sum of nearly ₹30 lakh stolen, bringing the total loss to around ₹39 lakh. Police noted that some currency was damaged by the heat from the gas cutter used during the forced entry.
Police have initiated an investigation based on CCTV footage. Kamareddy SP Rajesh Chandra has visited both crime scenes to assess the situation.
