Zoos and Parks Authority of Telangana approves revised fee structure; higher tariffs for Indian and foreign visitors

Hyderabad: The Zoos and Parks Authority of Telangana has approved a revision in entry and service charges at the Nehru Zoological Park, with the new rates coming into effect from August 1, 2026.

According to a note issued on July 31, the decision was taken during the 15th Governing Body meeting chaired by Forest Minister Konda Surekha. The revised tariff covers entry tickets, safari rides, battery-operated vehicles (BOV), toy train rides, aquarium visits, and camera fees.

Under the new structure, entry fees for adults will increase from ₹100 to ₹120 for Indian citizens, while foreign visitors will be charged ₹1,000. Similarly, safari charges, toy train tickets, and other attractions have seen a moderate hike. Camera usage fees have also been significantly revised, with still camera charges rising to ₹500 and movie camera fees set at ₹10,000.
