NEET-UG: Telangana CM Assures Support to Students, Demands Credible Investigation
The Government of Telangana stands firmly with the students and parents affected by this crisis. We urge the Union Government and the NTA to conduct a transparent, time-bound, and credible investigation, while also ensuring that innocent students are not forced to suffer repeatedly because of systemic failures, he stated in his message.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy strongly reacted to the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 examination, expressing deep concern over the distress caused to lakhs of students and parents across the country following allegations of paper leaks and large-scale irregularities in the examination process.
Sharply criticising the ruling BJP and opposition BRS, CM Revanth Reddy said paper leaks have "demonetised" students' future, adding that the similarities between the two parties in failures, betrayal, and organised corruption are glaring.
He stated that the integrity and credibility of national-level examinations must be protected at all costs. Any individuals or networks involved in paper leaks or corruption must face the strictest punishment, irrespective of their influence or position.
