MCEME Commandant Receives Ati Vishisht Seva Medal

 Hyderabad: Lt Gen. Neeraj Vashney, Commandant of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, has been conferred the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) by President Droupadi Murmu in recognition of his distinguished service and leadership. The honour was presented during the Defence Investiture Ceremony Phase II held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.

Lt Gen. Vashney, Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME), received the medal for exceptional service to the nation during his military career. The AVSM is one of the country’s highest military honours awarded for distinguished service of an exceptional order.

Defence officials described the honour as a proud moment for both MCEME and the Corps of EME, recognising the institution’s continued contribution to military education, technology and engineering support for the armed forces.
