Adilabad:Veldi Hariprasad, expert handloom weaver of Rajanna Sircilla, has presented a silk shawl fitted in a match box to Lord Anjaneya Swamy at the temple in Kondagattu of Jagtial district. He weaved the silk shawl with a lot of patience and concentration.

Hariprasad is known for weaving fine quality saris and dresses for temple deities and presenting them on special occasions. His latest accolade is for weaving a shawl that fits into a matchbox and presenting it to Lord Hanuman.

Hariprasad visited Kondagattu along with his family and they had the darshan of Lord Anjaneya Swamy on Tuesday. He then presented the matchbox containing the special silk shawl in saffron colour.

Temple authorities and devotees present there expressed astonishment looking at the shawl taken out of the matchbox. Authorities decided to use the shawl to adorn Lord Hanuman only on special occasions.
