Man Dies by Suicide Over Financial Problems

NALGONDA: A 56-year-old man died by suicide at Mosangi in Gurrampode mandal on Thursday, reportedly after becoming distressed over debts incurred for the marriages of his three daughters.
Kashimalla Venkataiah was shifted to the Government General Hospital in Nalgonda following the incident on August 24 and died while undergoing treatment on Thursday.
According to his family members, Venkataiah had borrowed around ₹50 lakh over the past three years to meet the marriage expenses of his three daughters. Unable to repay the debts, he reportedly went into depression and took the extreme step.
Based on a complaint by his wife Jayamma, Gurrampode police registered a case and began an investigation.
Man dies hours before son’s wedding in Bhongir
A 55-year-old man died just hours before his son’s wedding in Bhongir on Thursday, leaving the family in shock.
Ittaboina Shiva Shanker, a resident of Ramnagar Colony in Bhongir, fell ill on Wednesday night and died in the early hours of Thursday while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhongir.
His son’s marriage had been scheduled for 11 am on Thursday. The sudden death of Shiva Shanker left the family and relatives grief-stricken.
