Teen Dies After Falling From Moving Train Near Bhongir

NALGONDA: An 18-year-old teenager died after accidentally falling from a moving train near Pagidipally on the outskirts of Bhongir in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Thursday.
According to railway police, the teenager, a native of Sarvapur in Narsampet of Warangal district, was pursuing an Intermediate course. He slipped from the moving train at Pagidipally and died on the spot.
A relative said the youth was travelling to Hyderabad to bring his sister home to Sarvapur for the Rakhi festival on Friday. However, he died before reaching Hyderabad.
Railway police handed over the body to the family after a postmortem at the area hospital in Bhongir. A case was registered and an investigation is under way.
