Man Booked For Blackmailing Wife With Private Videos

HYDERABAD: A man was booked for blackmailing and threatening his wife by posting her private videos and photos on social media. A teacher complained that her husband had been mentally harassing her, posting obscene comments on Instagram and assassinating her character. Police found that in 2022 he had misused her private photos on Facebook and was now threatening to post them again. The victim urged stern action to prevent further humiliation. A case was registered and police said strict action would follow. The accused switched off his mobile and is absconding.
