Madhapur Police Warn Service Apartment Owners over Illegal Activities

Hyderabad: The Madhapur Inspector K.V. Subba Rao has warned owners and managers of service apartments to be careful while renting out their properties.
The raids that were conducted recently have found that some service apartments are being rented out for birthday parties and other events, but illegal activities like gambling have taken place during these gatherings.
Rao said that many owners or managers rent out their apartments without checking who is availing the facility or what they are planning to do. Recently, the police have registered two cases and started legal action. They are also asking the revenue department to seal some of these properties.
Rao urged owners and leaseholders to check who is availing the facility, how many people will be there, and what the purpose of the visit is. He warned that if illegal activities happen, the police will file cases and hold the responsible people accountable.
