Madhapur OYO Murder Case Cyberabad Police Arrest Accused
Police have cracked the case of a young woman who was murdered in an OYO hotel in Madhapur, Hyderabad last week. Madhapur police have arrested the accused, Srinivas Raviteja the victim's friend from Visakhapatnam, in connection with the case.

The accused confessed that he killed her because the victim, Sharon Nikitha Topno, a native of Visakhapatnam, was pressuring him to marry her.
According to the investigation, the man and woman had checked into an OYO room in Siddiqui Nagar, Madhapur on the 21st of this month. Police investigation revealed that Srinivas Raviteja killed her on the same night. The accused told the hotel staff that the woman had fallen unconscious and shifted her to a nearby hospital. After the hospital declared that she was dead, he reportedly fled from the spot. The Clues team collected forensic evidence from the hotel room after the police noticed injuries on the woman’s face and head. Bloodstains were also found on the walls and bedsheet.
The Madhapur police registered a murder case under Section 103(1) of the BNS and formed special teams to trace him.
He reportedly went back home the same day of the murder to his native village at Edumetla Marripalem in Parawada mandal of Anakapalli district and attempted suicide the next day. He was admitted to KGH Hospital in Visakhapatnam. After he was discharged from the hospital, Madhapur police took him into custody.
Police are likely to produce Srinivas Raviteja before the court for remand.
