Khammam: 6-Year-Old Boy Dies After Pencil Pierces Throat in Freak Accident
The boy slipped and fell, and the pencil he was holding pierced his throat, causing profuse bleeding.
Hyderabad: A six-year-old UKG student tragically died in an accident involving a pencil at a private school in Nayakan Gudem, Kusumanchi mandal of Khammam district, on Wednesday.
The young boy, identified as Vihar, was running back to his classroom after using the toilet during the afternoon break. He slipped and fell, and the pencil he was holding pierced his throat, causing profuse bleeding.
School staff and residents immediately transported Vihar to the Kusumanchi Government Hospital via an 108 emergency vehicle. However, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, noting that he had already succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.
The sudden and shocking loss has devastated Vihar's family, leaving his parents and relatives inconsolable. The entire Nayakan Gudem village has been enveloped in sorrow as residents mourn the death of the young student.
