HYDERABAD: The GHMC has ordered speeding up of the junction improvement works at the KBR Park main entrance, Agrasen statue and Jubilee Hills checkpost to facilitate one-way traffic flow around KBR Park. These junctions are uneven in size.
Major changes will be at the Agrasen statue Junction, traffic islands at Filmnagar and Road No. 45 to ensure one-way traffic flow and allow vehicles to switch lanes safely.
GHMC commissioner R.V. Karnan along with officials inspected the proposed 4.3 km elevated corridor from Jubilee Hills checkpost to NFCL junction on Thursday
Officials reviewed the progress of foundation excavations and junction improvement works. The agency executing the `1,090-crore flyover was told to immediately commence geotechnical investigations for foundation design along the Mugdha junction- NFCL junction stretch.
