Karimnagar Police Book Unidentified Persons Over Alleged Goat Sacrifice During Dasara

Hyderabad:The Karimnagar police registered a case against unidentified persons after a goat was allegedly sacrificed during Dasara at Gundi in Ramadugu mandal on October 20.

“Such events occur almost every year during the festival,” Goutham said, adding, “We did not have a video earlier, but this time we managed to get one.” According to the FIR, the alleged incident occurred around 3 pm.
The case was registered under Section 325 of the BNS, Section 6 of the Telangana Animals and Birds Sacrifices Prohibition Act and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Goutham said police had informed him that their identities of the perpetrators would be established during the investigation.
