HYDRAA alleged that while the operators took permissions to run the bar and wine shop, they had not taken any permission to raise the shed.
Hyderabad:HYDRAA said it had removied a shed allegedly raised on the Ramanthapur Cheruvu’s full tank level limits. The shed was allegedly raised by a bar operator on a 400-sq. yd land parcel to accommodate a sitting room for patrons.
HYDRAA alleged that while the operators took permissions to run the bar and wine shop, they had not taken any permission to raise the shed.
Bar operators said that they had approached the High Court three days ago, which they claimed had issued a status quo order. They said that HYDRAA officials arrived three days ago to undertake a survey, after which the land owner approached the court.
HYDRAA also organised a meeting with local temples and religious shrines near Kompally’s Foxsagar, and discussed the possibilities of relocating all temples in one location to strengthen the lake’s bund.
They said that there are 22 temples on the lake’s bund, and they had to be relocated in order to strengthen it and conduct development activities. HYDRAA inspectors and Quthbullapur ACP Shankar informed all the temple managements about the proposition.
