He directed officials to implement immediate relief measures and prepare detailed reports on the damages.
The minister held a review meeting with officials, including the district collector, to assess the situation. During the meeting, MLA Kova Laxmi requested assistance for distressed farmers, noting that a breach in the Vattivagu project canal had flooded cotton crops and called for measures to ensure water supply for irrigation from the Komram Bheem project.
MLC Dande Vittal has expressed concern over the safety of students in a dilapidated hostel in Sirpur (T), especially after recent heavy rains, and requested their relocation. He also stated that the forest department was obstructing the construction of Indiramma houses in the same constituency and asked the minister to intervene by instructing officials not to impede development works.
