Joint Survey of 185 Acres of Defence Land From Oct. 22
A comprehensive report would be submitted to the government after the survey.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad district collector Priyanka Ala on Wednesday directed revenue and defence officials to conduct a joint survey of 185 acres of defence land in Hyderabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts from October 22.
At a review meeting on the proposed exchange of defence land with state government land, the collector said 174 acres were located in Hyderabad district and 11 acres in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
She directed officials to identify land boundaries, reconcile discrepancies in revenue records and resolve ownership and boundary disputes. A comprehensive report would be submitted to the government after the survey.
The meeting also reviewed land acquisition and defence land issues related to the proposed elevated corridor from Paradise Junction to Dairy Farm X-Road and road development works along Rajiv Highway, between Paradise Junction and Shamirpet Outer Ring Road junction.
The collector said land valuations must be completed before any exchange, while compensation would be determined in accordance with government rules and decisions.
Additional collector Kathiravan Palani and Brigadier Chattiar attended the meeting.
