Hyderabad: Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy here on Saturday assured that advanced Indiramma houses would be constructed and provided within the vicinity of the areas where the urban poor currently reside, ensuring no disruption to their livelihoods.

He clarified that not only will the foundation stone for the one lakh houses approved in the first phase within the Qura limit soon be laid by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, but also measures will be taken to complete their construction within a year.

Srinivas Reddy, along with fellow ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin, laid the foundation stone for the Integrated Sub-Registrar Offices to be built in Banjara Hills for the community. On this occasion, speaking at the meeting organized as a chief guest, Minister Srinivas Reddy addressed the gathering.

Stating that unlike the previous BRS government, which intended to scatter houses 30-40 kilometers away from where people lived, he said each constituency will be treated as a unit, and houses will be constructed within that constituency for its residents—this is a great gift to the poor, presented by Revanth Reddy.

The Minister affirmed that the people's government schemes are being implemented to reach right to the doorsteps of the poor in the state. He explained that these integrated buildings are being constructed to bring services from departments like Stamps and Registration, Survey, and others under one roof.

As part of the reforms introduced by their government, the Minister stated that 13 Sub-Registrar Offices within the limits of three corporations are being boldly brought into operation in a corporate style, defying the private sector.

Moreover, to avoid the burden of these funds falling on the government, the responsibility of construction is being entrusted to renowned institutions in the real estate construction sector. The Ministers revealed that in a few months, the Phoenix institution will complete and hand over this building in 30,000 square feet here.

They said that the S.R. Nagar, Banjara Hills, Golconda Sub-Registrar Offices, DIG Office, and Registrar of Chits - Golconda Office will be housed in the Banjara Hills integrated building, and through these, the people of this area will gain more employment and business facilities.

They announced that instructions have been given to officials to enable Muslim brothers, who have been offering namaz in this area for hundreds of years, to conduct namaz programs twice a year.
