IndiGo Halts 4 Saudi Routes Till Oct 27
The airlines have not yet announced whether the suspension will be extended.
Hyderabad:IndiGo has extended the suspension of flights from Hyderabad to four Saudi Arabian destinations — Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh and Dammam — until October 27 amid continuing drone and missile attacks targeting airports and aviation infrastructure in the Middle East.
This is the third consecutive extension of the suspension. The airline communicated the decision in a response to a passenger on social media.
However, Saudia, which operates flights between Hyderabad and Jeddah, and flyadeal, which connects Hyderabad with Riyadh, were operating their services as scheduled.
Air India and Air India Express have temporarily suspended flights to and from Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam until October 24. The airlines have not yet announced whether the suspension will be extended.
