Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) removed an illegally raised gate and boundary wall fencing around BRS MLA and former minister Malla Reddy’s farmhouse at Kompally’s Foxsagar on Monday.

HYDRAA stated that the boundary wall and gate around the former minister’s farmhouse was built by dumping soil and silt within the full tank level and buffer zone limits of the lake, situated on Survey No. 124. The agency also said that the farmhouse boundary was built by moving into the lake’s FTL land by more than 15 acres.

HYDRAA in a statement said that it had removed another boundary wall raised by Supreme Court advocate Saurab Raj Varma at the lake. The boundary wall, raised on Survey No.s 41 and 42, covered nearly 20 acres of Foxsagar lake’s FTL land.

The advocate attempted to stop the demolitions, but HYDRAA officials showed the FTL limit markings and removed the boundary wall.
