Hyderabad: External evaluation for SA-I for Class IX students across all 33 districts
An order issued by the director of school education and state project director, Samagra Shiksha, on Wednesday said previous guidelines mandated external evaluation for SA-I and SA-II across all 33 districts.
Hyderabad: The Telangana school education department has limited external evaluation for Summative Assessment-I (SA-I) to Class IX students across all 33 districts and Class VI students in nine districts, on a pilot basis.
The revised decision came after a meeting of the joint staff council of teacher associations with the education secretary, director of school education and department officials on September 30.
Class VI students will undergo external evaluation in Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mulugu, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mahbubabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal and Sanga Reddy districts.

The department has now decided to restrict the SA-I exercise to Classes VI and IX under the pilot programme.
Officials will follow the procedures and guidelines prescribed in the department’s August 28 proceedings for conducting the external evaluation.
