Hyderabad: An elderly couple staged a dharna in front of their son's residence, alleging that they were not being taken care of and had been forced to leave their home.

The couple, Devupalli Lakshman and Jaya Lakshmi, alleged that they were sent out of their house in Indra Reddy Alwyn Colony in Miyapur. They further claimed that the house was put up for sale without their knowledge.

The couple alleged that their son, Devupalli Ravi Kumar, and daughter-in-law, Prasoona, had been harassing them and forced them to leave the house.

The couple placed a banner during the protest, which identified Ravi Kumar as an aerospace engineer.
