Couple Held for Stealing Shoes and Selling Them

Hyderabad: The Uppal police on Thursday arrested a couple for stealing shoes from houses and selling them in weekly markets. The theft was reported in Ramanthapur after a resident, Venkatesh Yadav, spotted the couple stealing footwear. He acquired CCTV footage and caught the accused and handed them over to the police.

According to Uppal circle inspector Election Reddy, Mallesh and Rashmi work at a private hospital. He said Rashmi was intoxicated and created a ruckus. “We will get more details soon,” the inspector said.
