Hyderabad: Auto Driver Rams Traffic Cop During Drunk & Drive Check
Police have formed a special investigation team to track the culprit using the vehicle’s registration number captured on CCTV.

Hyderabad: A drunk auto-rickshaw driver struck and injured a traffic constable in Hyderabad late Friday night during a drink-driving inspection.
Reports state that Traffic Constable Shankar tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver, attempting to evade him, rammed into the officer and fled. The constable sustained serious leg injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
Police reviewed nearby CCTV footage that showed the driver leaving a wine shop just before the incident. Authorities have formed a special investigation team and are tracking the culprit using the vehicle’s registration number captured on camera.
