Hyderabad: Telangana is working towards positioning Hyderabad as an international hub for fintech and global financial services, IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said on Saturday.

Inaugurating the Hyderabad office of Singapore-based Artha Fintech at HITEC City, the Minister said the State was focused on strengthening its industrial and technology ecosystem to attract global companies and encourage them to expand their operations in Hyderabad.

He said the government was prioritising world-class digital infrastructure, research and development in advanced technologies and the development of a skilled workforce to meet the evolving requirements of the financial services industry.

While Hyderabad had already established itself as a leading global destination for IT and IT-enabled services, the State was now looking to leverage this strong technology base to expand into emerging areas such as fintech, digital banking and global financial services, he said.

As part of the Telangana Rising–2047 vision, the government was committed to positioning the State as a preferred destination for global investments, innovation and emerging technologies. These efforts would further strengthen Hyderabad's presence in the international financial services landscape, Sridhar Babu said.
