Heavy to Very Heavy Rains Likely in Telangana for Next Three Days
An orange alert has been issued for parts of the state, while southern and central districts are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall across Telangana for the next three days due to a low-pressure system formed over the northwest Bay of Bengal.
Southern Telangana districts, including Adilabad, Nizamabad and Karimnagar, are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rains, while eastern districts such as Warangal and Khammam may witness heavy rainfall at isolated places, the forecast read.

For today, a yellow alert has been sounded for Adilabad, Nizamabad and Jagtial districts. On the following day, an orange alert has been issued for Adilabad, Nizamabad, Jagtial and Peddapalli districts. Additionally, yellow alerts have been issued for Kamareddy, Medak, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Mahabubabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts.
On Sunday, orange alerts will be in place for Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli and Karimnagar districts, while yellow alerts have been issued for Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem.
Hyderabad is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rain.
The weather department has indicated that dry conditions are likely to prevail across the state after July 7.
