The minister said the government aims to enhance the living conditions of urban residents by combining welfare schemes with the development of basic amenities
Nalgonda: Roads and buildings minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the state government is implementing a comprehensive plan to improve infrastructure and amenities in urban areas. Speaking after inaugurating a robotic jetting machine in Nalgonda municipality on Friday, the minister said the government aims to enhance the living conditions of urban residents by combining welfare schemes with the development of basic amenities.
He assured that Nalgonda would be developed as a model municipality in the state. The underground drainage works in Nalgonda town would be completed soon, he said, and steps would be taken to ensure there is no shortage of drinking water. He added that all wards in the town would be developed equally, regardless of political affiliation.
Former chairman of Nalgonda municipality Burri Srinivas Reddy and superintendent engineer (public health) Venkateshwarlu were also present at the programme.
