Future City Traffic DCP Shivam Upadhyaya Distributes Safety Kits To Personnel
The safety kits include raincoats, reflective jackets, helmets, batons, jungle shoes, rainy shoes, goggles, water bottles, bags and hand gloves.
To strengthen the safety, preparedness and efficiency of traffic personnel performing field duties, Future City Traffic DCP Shivam Upadhyaya, IPS, distributed essential safety kits to traffic police personnel.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring that traffic personnel are properly equipped to carry out their responsibilities safely and effectively, particularly during rain, adverse weather conditions and demanding traffic-management situations.
The safety kits include raincoats, reflective jackets, helmets, batons, jungle shoes, rainy shoes, goggles, water bottles, bags and hand gloves.
Speaking on the occasion, Future City Traffic DCP Shivam Upadhyaya, IPS said that traffic personnel spend long hours on the roads under varying weather and traffic conditions and that their safety and well-being are equally important while they work to regulate traffic and assist the public.
He said appropriate protective equipment would help personnel perform their duties with greater safety, visibility and confidence, especially during challenging weather conditions.
The DCP advised all traffic personnel to make proper use of the safety equipment and continue to give priority to road safety, smooth traffic regulation and public convenience across the Future City Police Commissionerate.
