First-Year Intermediate Admissions Up 14% In Govt Junior Colleges

Hyderabad: Government Junior Colleges recorded a 14 percent surge in first-year intermediate admissions, with enrolment increasing from 75,000 to 85,453 this academic year.

Total enrollment across the intermediate first year and second year now stands at 1,64,730 students.

The surge in admissions reflects strong public trust fuelled by extensive student-centric welfare initiatives, high-tech pedagogical upgrades, strategic global industry collaborations, and robust funding from Samagra Shiksha, the Intermediate Education department officials said on Monday.
