Falaknuma Rowdy-sheeter Gets One Year Imprisonment in NDPS Case

Hyderabad: In a significant outcome for Hyderabad police, a rowdy sheeter of Mailardevpally was convicted in an NDPS and Arms Act case registered in Falaknuma police station.

The court convicted the accused Mirza Rahmath Ali Baig of Mailardevpally rowdy sheeter and sentenced him to simple imprisonment for one year with a fine of Rs.10,000 for the NDPS offence and simple imprisonment for one year with a fine of Rs.10,000 for the Arms Act offence.

In default of payment of fine, Baig must undergo simple imprisonment for three months. The trial was closely monitored by the Falaknuma Inspector A. Seethaiah, with assistance from court duty officers and staff, resulting in conviction and reinforcing strict enforcement against drug trafficking and illegal arms possession.
