Cyberabad Commissioner Reviews Civic Issues in Pragathi Nagar

Hyderabad: As part of the 'One Ward Every Day' programme, the Commissioner of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, along with the Zonal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and other officials, visited Pragathi Nagar Ward in the Nizampet Circle of Quthbullapur Zone.

During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with residents and representatives of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) to review civic infrastructure and address public grievances.

The officials reviewed measures to improve street lighting, repair potholes, restore damaged roads, enhance traffic safety, remove road encroachments; improve traffic flow, and maintain parks, walking tracks, children's play equipment, and other public amenities.

The Commissioner directed officials to take up issues on top priority related to drainage overflows, sewage discharge, and waterlogging in low-lying areas.

Residents also raised concerns over sanitation, mosquito control, stray dog management, community facilities, burial ground infrastructure, and public transport amenities.

The Commissioner instructed the concerned officials to take appropriate measures to address the issues at the earliest.
