Cyberabad and Future City Police Pay Tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri
Dr Ramesh said ensuring justice to people, discharging duties responsibly and working with dedication towards society were among the key responsibilities of police personnel.
Hyderabad:Cyberabad and Future City police on Friday commemorated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and the late Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, recalling their enduring values of truth, non-violence, discipline, integrity and dedicated public service.
Cyberabad police commissioner Dr M. Ramesh paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait and said the principles of truth, non-violence, peace and discipline followed by the Father of the Nation remained relevant for everyone. He recalled Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution and sacrifices during the freedom struggle and urged people to promote peace, harmony and brotherhood in society.
Dr Ramesh said ensuring justice to people, discharging duties responsibly and working with dedication towards society were among the key responsibilities of police personnel. He also called for collective efforts to build the clean, peaceful and egalitarian society envisioned by Gandhi.
At the Future City police headquarters in Ibrahimpatnam, senior officials and CAR personnel highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of truth and non-violence and Lal Bahadur Shastri’s ideals of simplicity, discipline, integrity and service to the nation. The programmes were attended by senior police officials, including ACP Arun Kumar, DCPs Annapurna and Sanjeev, Additional DCPs and CAR personnel. Officials said the leaders lives continued to inspire public servants to work with honesty and commitment.
