Congress PAC Meets In Nizamabad, Chalks Plans To Strengthen Party At Grassroots

NIZAMABAD: The Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the ruling Congress in the undivided Nizamabad district met in Nizamabad on Wednesday. The meeting extensively discussed strengthening of the party’s organisational structure, expanding party activities at the grassroots level, and chalking out programmes and strategies to be undertaken in the coming days.

Speaking at the meeting, adviser to state government Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that party workers are the backbone of the Congress party. He stressed the need to further strengthen the party from the village to the district level. He urged leaders and workers to work in coordination from the booth level to the mandal and constituency levels.
Shabbir said party activities should not be limited to election periods. There must be a continuous action plan to ensure that the party remains connected with the people throughout the year. He said people will have greater confidence in the Congress Party through coordination among leaders. They must remain accessible to party workers and continuously work towards resolving public issues.
Speaking on the occasion, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud asked booth-level committees to become more active and maintain continuous contact with the public. He urged everyone to contribute to strengthening the Congress Party by conducting party programmes in an organised and systematic manner.
Those who participated in the programme included Nizamabad mayor K. Uma Rani, MLAs Madan Mohan Rao, in-charges of assembly constituencies M. Sunil Reddy and P. Vinay Reddy, Yusuf Ali, Kasula Balraj, former MLCs Arikela Narsa Reddy, Akula Lalitha, city Congress committee president Bobbili Ramakrishna, Kamareddy DCC president Mallikarjun, Nizamabad DCC in-charge president K. Sharath Kumar, corporation chairpersons Manala Mohan Reddy, Iravathri Anil, Nizamabad Urban Development Authority chairman Kesha Venu, Rythu Commission member Gadugu Gangadhar, and presidents of Congress-affiliated organisations.
