CM Revanth To Receive Aryadan Memorial Award In Kerala Today

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been selected for the Aryadan Memorial Award 2026 for “Best Public Servant” for his public service and legislative contributions. He will receive the award at Nilambur in Keralam on Friday.
Instituted by the Aryadan Muhammed Foundation in memory of veteran Congress leader and Keralam former minister Aryadan Muhammed, the award carries a cash prize of `1 lakh, a citation and a memento.
Foundation working chairman and Nilambur MLA Aryadan Shoukath said Revanth Reddy was selected for his initiatives for the welfare of farmers, Backward Classes communities and the common people in Telangana and his leadership. The jury comprised MP Benny Behanan, Keralam revenue minister A.P. Anilkumar and noted intellectual Kalpetta Narayanan.
The award will be presented at 10 am at a function marking Aryadan Mohammed’s fourth death anniversary. AICC general secretary (organization) K.C. Venugopal will deliver the memorial lecture.
Aryadan Muhammed was an eight-time MLA and served as a minister in four Kerala governments. He was known for his parliamentary contributions, administrative acumen, secular values and advocacy of workers’ welfare. Previous winners of the award include Keralam Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan and Venugopal.
