CBSE Class 12 Results Spark Citywide Celebrations
Prisha Pandey from an international school secured the highest percentage in the school with 90.4 per cent, while Khushi Vadsaria topped the Commerce stream with 92.4 per cent.
Hyderabad: With the CBSE Class 12 results declared on Wednesday, several schools across the city witnessed celebrations as they recorded outstanding performances, with many students scoring above 90 per cent while balancing competitive exam preparations, sports, and cultural activities.
At the Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, Raaga Pranavi, head girl of the school, emerged as the overall topper with 96 per cent in the Commerce stream. Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Pranavi said she is now aiming to pursue Economics and Political Science and is preparing for CUET Delhi. “Being the head girl of the school, handling extracurricular activities and pursuing classical dance was challenging, but I remained consistent every day and dedicated time for studies,” she said.
Tarunprakash, who scored 92.4 per cent, said, “I was not one of those people who studied eight or ten hours a day. But I made sure I studied consistently, even on days I didn’t feel like studying.”
Another student, Sukriti, who secured 94 per cent, said balancing school and JEE coaching was “really difficult”, but support from teachers and parents helped. “They used to focus on the concepts which I had missed,” the student said. After scoring 97 percentile in JEE Main and proceeding to JEE Advanced, she aspires to work in Artificial Intelligence in the space and technology sector in the future.
Dr Narsimha Reddy, principal of HPSR, said, “It is extremely gratifying to witness our students excel with such dedication and determination.”
An unaided school run by a trust secured 100 per cent pass results. N. Akshara, who secured 90.6 per cent in the BiPC stream, said she is now preparing for the NEET exam and aspires to become a surgeon. “Initially in Class 11, it was difficult to manage both NEET preparation and public examinations, but later I was able to settle,” she said.
Similarly, students Ananya Nalamati from a school which has a network at Madhapur, secured 95.2 per cent, Nehara Sandeep Nair 94.4, Saanvi Jhaveri 91.6, and M. Narendra Reddy 90.8. Another student, V. Indrani, who secured the top score from the school, said, “I wanted to pursue Law and as I attend a lot of debates and work on social issues, I have decided this and already got a seat in a law school in Mumbai,” she added.
M. Saharsh Goenka from a reputed public school in Jubilee Hills secured 95.6 per cent in the MPC stream, while in Commerce, Shresta secured 92.4 per cent, said Principal Aruna Sree.
