Former government chief whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar alleged that the Congress government had failed to implement the 420 promises made to the people despite completing 1,000 days in office. Following a call by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, BRS leaders submitted a memorandum at the Ambedkar statue and later staged a road blockade, burning an effigy of the government in protest against the police treatment of women MLAs.

Vinay Bhaskar said Congress had promised to implement its six guarantees and 420 commitments within 100 days but had failed to fulfil them even after 1,000 days. He criticised the government for failing to provide fee reimbursement to students, employment to youth, livelihood opportunities to workers and pensions to the elderly and persons with disabilities.

He also condemned the police treatment of former ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy on the Assembly premises, describing it as shameful.

Vinay Bhaskar said Kadiyam Srihari speaking about Dalits was ironic and recalled that the previous KCR government had implemented the Dalit Bandhu scheme for their welfare. He demanded immediate implementation of the ` 12 lakh Dalit Bandhu promise made in the Congress manifesto.
