Hyderabad Bound British Airlines Flight Gets Bomb Threat
The customer support service of RGIA received the email related to the bomb threat to BA 277 flight from Heathrow to Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The RGIA has received one more email related to a bomb threat to British airlines flight bound to Hyderabad on Tuesday.
After the flight landed safely, the airline staff and the personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) checked it thoroughly. Upon receiving information, the officials initiated standard safety protocols before checking it.
The customer support service of RGIA received the email related to the bomb threat to BA 277 flight from Heathrow to Hyderabad. Officials declared that it was a hoax email after examining the flight, which later departed to its scheduled destination.
On Monday, the RGIA received a bomb threat email regarding a KLM Airlines flight from Amsterdam, which was declared a hoax following security checks, police said on Monday.
The airport customer support received the bomb threat email late Sunday night for the Amsterdam-Hyderabad (KL 873) flight, Airport sources said adding the plane landed safely in Hyderabad and all standard safety protocols were initiated.
"Security check was carried out and nothing suspicious was found. It was a hoax email," a police official said.
The flight departed as well for Amsterdam from Hyderabad on Monday, police said.
