Bathukamma Kunta Restoration Work Begins

HYDERABAD: HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath on Wednesday launched the restoration work at Bathukamma Kunta in Amberpet after a legal dispute was resolved a day earlier. He directed quick development to prepare the site for upcoming Bathukamma celebrations.

Development work officially began with a brief ceremony and puja, attended by residents from the area. The commissioner instructed officials to take up restoration, beautification, and repair activities at full pace. Reviving the pond, he said, would uplift the surroundings and improve the local environment.

Residents present at the site pledged support and assured cooperation as work progresses in the coming weeks.
