Hyderabad: Union minister of state Bandi Sanjay has penned a letter to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman B.R. Naidu, imploring the temple trust to swiftly commence the construction of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Karimnagar.
In his letter, Sanjay recalled the groundbreaking ceremony held on May 31, 2023, in the Padmanagar area of Karimnagar for the TTD-managed temple project, which was met with enthusiasm by devotees and local residents. However, he expressed his disappointment that no tangible progress has been made on the ground since then.
"It is unfortunate that despite the auspicious beginning with the bhoomi puja, the temple construction has not moved forward even by a single step," Sanjay stated in his letter.
Representing the fervent aspirations of Lord Venkateswara's devotees and the people of the Karimnagar region, Bandi Sanjay earnestly appealed to the TTD chairman to prioritise the project. He emphasised the potential of the temple to bring significant spiritual vibrancy to Karimnagar and urged the TTD to expedite the construction work without further delay.
