AVM GKJ Reddy Takes Charge As CDM Commandant
Commissioned into the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force in 1990, Air Vice Marshal Reddy is a Category A Qualified Flying Instructor with over 4,500 flying hours.
Hyderabad: Air Vice Marshal G.K.J. Reddy, Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM), has assumed charge as Commandant of the College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad, succeeding Major General G. Srinivas, VSM, who is set to take over as General Officer Commanding (GOC), Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA).
Commissioned into the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force in 1990, Air Vice Marshal Reddy is a Category A Qualified Flying Instructor with over 4,500 flying hours.
A graduate of the National Defence College and the Defence Services Staff College, he has held several operational, command and staff appointments during a career spanning more than three decades. Before assuming charge at CDM, he was serving as Associate Director (PMT) at the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
He is a recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal, awarded for distinguished service of a high order.
