Attapur: Woman Admitted With Fever Dies, Family Alleges Medical Negligence

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed in Attapur in the city after relatives of a 28-year-old woman alleged that she died due to medical negligence by the medical staff at a private hospital on Tuesday.
The woman, identified as Srilatha, was admitted to the hospital on Monday after suffering from fever. According to the hospital management, she had been undergoing treatment since her admission. Doctors reportedly shifted Srilatha to the ICU after her condition deteriorated during the night. She was later declared dead.
Shocked by her death, family members alleged that negligence by the doctors had led to her death. A large number of relatives gathered outside the hospital and staged a protest, resulting in tension on the premises.
Police reached the hospital after receiving information and deployed personnel to maintain order. They tried to pacify the grieving family members and defuse the situation. Further details are awaited.
