Adilabad Congress Welcomes Rajiv Gandhi Jyoti Yatra

ADILABAD: Congress leaders in Adilabad welcomed the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Jyoti Yatra’ being taken to Veerbhoomi in Delhi, his memorial, from Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, where he was assassinated on May 21, 1991.
The yatra was received at the District Congress Committee (DCC) office in Adilabad by leaders including market committee chairman B. Srikanth Reddy, Assembly in-charge K. Srinivas Reddy and former market committee chairman Sanjeev Reddy.
Leaders appreciated organiser Samuel Diraviam and recalled the contributions of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, including his role in the development of the IT sector. Adilabad town president Kizar Pasah, TTD Board former member Bejjanki Anil Kumar, and party leaders Motiram, Sanjay and others were present.
