₹75 Crore Sanctioned for Kamareddy Rural Development
He said the funds would help accelerate the construction and improvement of major roads in Kamareddy.
KAMAREDDY: Government adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Wednesday said the state government has sanctioned Rs 75.19 crore for the development of villages in the Kamareddy Assembly constituency.
Speaking after meeting panchayat raj minister Seethakka in Hyderabad, Shabbir said the funds would be utilised through the HUM agency to strengthen rural infrastructure and provide basic amenities.
He, along with Congress leaders from the constituency, thanked the minister for sanctioning the funds. Shabbir also said he had spoken to roads and buildings minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and expressed his gratitude for sanctioning Rs 30 crore for road development works in the constituency.
He said the funds would help accelerate the construction and improvement of major roads in Kamareddy.
Shabbir said he was making sustained efforts to secure additional funds for the constituency and expressed confidence that Rs 25 crore under FDA funds, another Rs 20 crore, and Rs 32 crore under CRR funds would also be sanctioned shortly.
He said the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, was committed to developing Kamareddy by prioritising rural infrastructure, roads, drinking water supply and other essential public amenities. More development projects would be taken up to transform the constituency into a model constituency, he added.
