550 Police Personnel Deployed For CM Revanth's Karimnagar Visit
Security arrangements beefed up ahead of Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy's visit to Karimnagar today.
Karimnagar: Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s visit to the district on Wednesday. Around 550 police officers and personnel from across the Commissionerate have been deployed for security duties, Police Commissioner Gaush Alam stated.
The CM will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Integrated District Collectorate (IDOC) building and several development programmes. The Karimnagar Commissionerate Police have completed elaborate security and traffic arrangements. Police Commissioner Gaush Alam said security measures had been put in place in coordination with the District Collector and district administration to ensure that the Chief Minister’s visit is conducted peacefully and smoothly. As the Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive by helicopter, special security arrangements have been made at the helipad, convoy routes, the old Collectorate and the areas surrounding the new IDOC building.
Access control will be implemented at the programme venues, with only authorised persons being allowed inside. A separate media gallery has been arranged for media representatives, and entry will be restricted to those carrying official passes.
During the Chief Minister’s visit, vehicular movement between Prathima Theatre and Mamatha Theatre will be regulated, and traffic will be diverted to alternative routes wherever necessary. Traffic advisories will be issued to the public in advance, the Commissioner said.
Reserve forces and special teams have also been kept ready to effectively deal with any emergencies. The Police Commissioner appealed to the public and motorists to take note of the traffic diversions and cooperate with police personnel deployed on duty.
