Woman Murdered By Live-In Partner In Ameerpet Hotel
A 34-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner in a hotel in Ameerpet under SR Nagar police station limits.
Hyderabad: A 34-year-old woman was allegedly brutally murdered by her partner in a hotel in Ameerpet under SR Nagar police station limits on Tuesday.
According to SR Nagar police, the victim, identified as B. Sirisha (34) from Nagasamandar village, Dharur mandal, Vikarabad district, was running an SBI Customer Service Point. She was married in 2013 and divorced in 2016 due to marital disputes. During this period, she came into contact with A. Srinivas (38) from Oglapur, Peddemul mandal, Vikarabad district, and their acquaintance turned into a relationship.
Though she informed her family about her decision to marry him, they refused. The couple later got married in a temple. Sirisha continued to stay with her parents, while the duo would occasionally meet in the city.On September 24, the couple checked into Gokul Pride Hotel in Dharam Karam Road in Ameerpet, under the alias names Ganesh and Durga. In the early hours of Tuesday, Srinivas left the hotel, telling the staff that she would vacate the room after breakfast. When she did not come out even after 10 AM, the hotel staff opened the room with a spare key and found Sirisha lying on the bed with multiple injuries on her body. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused had increased the TV volume and brutally hit her with a curtain rod, leading to her death. Police suspect he also took away money from her after the murder.
DCP Ramana Reddy, ACP Raghavendra Rao and Inspector Srinivasa Reddy inspected the crime scene. Police found that Srinivas had beaten her on September 22 as well and got her treated at a hospital in Ellareddyguda using fake names.A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
