13th One World Fusion Concert Set for August 14 at Ravindra Bharathi to Support Autism Awareness
Organised by the Sangitanjaly Foundation in association with the government’s department of language and culture, the annual event aims to introduce younger audiences to classical music through contemporary fusion performances.
Hyderabad:The 13th edition of One World Fusion, a concert blending Indian classical ragas with Bollywood music, will be held at Ravindra Bharathi on August 14, with proceeds going to supporting autism awareness.
Organised by the Sangitanjaly Foundation in association with the government’s department of language and culture, the annual event aims to introduce younger audiences to classical music through contemporary fusion performances.
The programme will feature playback singers Shubhodeep Das Choudhury and Barnali Chattopadhyay, trumpeter Kishore Sodha, and Pt Prodyut Mukherjee with the Rhythm Express Band, performing together on the platform for the first time.
The concert seeks to raise awareness and support for Autism Ashram, which works with individuals on the autism spectrum. Curator Abhijeeth Bhattacharjee said the initiative was conceived to make Indian classical music more accessible to young audiences through familiar musical formats.
